Ladies is this a Red Flag? If so, how should it have been handle?
Last semester I came to notice a girl a lot. She looked a bit weird but attractive also. It wasn't until I finally got to know her that I realized how confident she was and full of herself yet nerdy and dorky in a very hot way. One day out of my usual comfort level (I usually don't approach white girls, because of personal preferences), I asked her about the school's coffee, surprisingly that led to a small talk and she introduced herself with a friendly smile. The next time I saw her she actually came and talked with me, and soon made herself comfortable and we talked for a good bit. I didn't talked much because she had too many things to talk about (geez... girls really enjoy boys listening to them blah-ber, no offense). After a good 20 mins, I took the initiative to end the conversation telling her that I enjoyed it very much and I'll see her around campus. Then finally the next time we talked again I was invited to a casual friend hangout at her house. Before we exchanged numbers she told me how much of a creep she was and that she had added me on FB b/c of a mutual friend. *she was being sarcastic and of course I know that what she said does not mean she likes me. On the day of the hangout, I came up with a lame excuse and texted her saying I couldn't make it, after I told her that I'll be going. She didn't texted back. But a week afterward, I saw her again and we talked, then I asked her for a drink. Here she hesitated, checked her schedule and said ok. Of course her hesitation was an obvious "no" but my question is what are other options to get to know her better without making her think that I like her which I wasn't but I was intrigue by her character.
