Does my crush like me or is it just my imagination?

So I don't know if my 2 year crush likes me or not. Whenever he sees me he just stares at me(makes it reallly obvious and recently I had a boyfriend which he saw me with at a game. My friends say my crush looked pissed off and he even left early. I've messaged him on FB but he never responds back and when I see him at parties I hope he asks me to Dane but he jut sits with his friends staring at me. So what does he like me or not? And if he does why won't e message me back or talk to me?
