Can someone tell me a current event?

I'm taking an SAT class and I need a couple current events that I could possibly use as examples when I'm writing an SAT essay. Like for example; a current event about a man who rescued little kids, and risked killing himself. If the SAT essay was about bravery, I would be able to use that example.
